WILCO Custom Electronics was launched in 2007 as a subsidiary of WILCO Broadcast Services, LLC.  WILCO Broadcast Services has been in operation since 2003 providing equipment and engineering services to radio and television stations in the midwest.  Owner/operator, Rick Funk, has been in radio/television engineering and equipment sales for over 25 years. 

Drawing on audio/video skills used in professional broadcasting, WILCO Custom Electronics provides expert design, sales, installation and repair of audio/video electronics for both residential and commercial customers in and around Richmond.  Satisfied customers include Richmond Civic Theater, local churches, restaurants and homeowners.  

The term "wilco" is nearly as old as electronic communications itself.  When communicating via radio, the term is used as a contraction of "will comply" indicating that the person will comply with the instructions given.  When a customer asks for assistance, the answer is WILCO.
